The Framer's First True Conservation Drymount!

Only Preserve Ultra from Kool Tack lets you safely drymount valuable pieces!

You can drymount with confidence - your print or photographs will not fade or darken when using Preserve Ultra.

No fear of Silver interaction - Preserve Ultra passes all industry standard tests and will not cause chemical reaction nor physical damage to your work.

Preserve Ultra was specifically designed to allow a print or photograph to be drymounted, and at some future
date removed without any deteriorating effect to the art. It has passed all the *PAT photographic activity tests.
The board is simple to use, and safe for most common types of photographs, and prints. It is always best to test
any uncommon material before you drymount. Certain types of art such as that which is printed on plastic are not
recommended for drymounting.

Preserve Ultra should be used at 150ºF (65ºC) to 160ºF (71ºC) for 20
to 30 seconds (depending on the size of the print. (The larger the
print the longer the dwell time) As an example, a 16x20 print should
take 20 seconds at a temperature of 155ºF (68ºC).

Trouble shooting questions:

My picture is bubbling !

1. Check the temperature. It may be too hot. Because of the lower operating temperature of
Preserve Ultra. The outside surface of the print will heat up faster, and seal the moisture, and air
inside the drymount.

2. In high humid areas, or during the summer months when the humidity is higher, it is a good
practice to dry out the print prior to drymounting. This will eliminate excess moisture in the
print, and give you a better drymount. See owners manual for instructions

3. The temperature is too low. Check to see that your press is operating at the correct temperature,
and put the print back into the press. Check the calibration of your press.

My drymount has a speck of dirt under it !

Don't worry, simply take a warm heat gun and gently heat the corner of the print
that is closest to the dirt speck, and while warming the surface of the print gently
lift the print off the board while continuing to heat the picture. Continue lifting the
print until you reach the dirt speck, and remove it. Be careful not to over heat the
print or you may damage it. You can now drymount the print in the same position.
